German A1.2 – Now it gets really exciting!
You can already say hello? Then things are getting really interesting! You already know the basics from A1.1? Then A1.2 is exactly the next step – more sentences, more everyday life, more confidence!
Imagine – after 8–12 weeks you can already…
- Understand & give directions: „Gehen Sie geradeaus, dann links.“
- Talk about past days: „Gestern war ich im Supermarkt.“
- Make & cancel appointments: „Können wir um 15 Uhr treffen?“
- Order & pay in a restaurant: „Ich nehme die Suppe und ein Wasser, bitte.“
- Talk about hobbies & plans: „Am Wochenende gehe ich gern spazieren.“
- Write simple emails & messages
Enough for lots of real everyday situations – you’re becoming really independent!
What do we do in the course?
- Directions & orientation
- Past tense (Perfekt), appointments & invitations
- Restaurant, doctor, hotel & extended shopping
- Hobbies, weekend plans & first future (werde + infinitive)
Grammar light: Perfekt (haben/sein), modal verbs (müssen, wollen, sollen), accusative/dative basics, prepositions (in, an, auf, zu), comparative. Only what you really need – approx. 900–1100 words total (~400–500 new)!
